Kayaking Intermediate to Advanced August 11-13

What: This course will focus on improving paddling efficiency through improving strokes and using river features to the paddlers advantage. There will be a strong focus on getting strokes right on flat water before applying them in the moving water.  Throughout the course we will use slalom gates to illustrate the use of different strokes and techniques and will also use video analysis as a means for improvement.
Who: Anyone who is comfortable paddling class 3 rivers is welcome to join.  A slicy tailed boat would be the ideal boat to use on this course but any boat is fine, so long as it floats!
Where: Due to current issues with obtaining Mersey releases the exact locations will not be known until closer to the time but some options may include Forth, Bradys, Meander and Lea.
