The first Lea River Coaching Day will be held on Saturday, September 23.
Tasmania’s best creek boaters and extreme racers will coach smal groups on the river. This day is for those who want to paddle safely down the Lea, or for those who wish to learn the winning moves for the Lea Extreme Race.
A video analysis session will be held at Wiendorfer’s, Gowrie Park, when the paddling has finished. Meals will be available.
This day is being organised by Canoe Tasmania in recognition of the massive increase in creek boating over the last few years, and the development of Extreme Racing as a strong discipline. It is an opportunity for Tasmania’s best paddlers to pass on some of their knowledge and skills to help improve the safety and skills of the less experienced.
Enrolments are ESSENTIAL by September 20. Contact Andrea McQuitty if you wish to attend, or have any queries.
