A Skills and Safety Course for Sit-on-Top Kayak paddlers will be held at Kingston Beach on
Saturday, January 29, 10am-12noon
The course will cover a range of topics including:
launching and landing, effective forward paddling, strokes for control and support, rescues, design features of different craft, safe venues and conditions for paddling
The course is suitable for any Sit-on-Top paddlers – those who have just recently started paddling to those who have some experience.
Participants must bring their own kayak, paddle and PFD (lifejacket).
COST: $10
