Details: This course is being offered as a women’s only course/river journey. This is because there are many females who benefit from learning from other women and being supported to build confidence in their paddling skills, knowledge and group management from other like-minded females.
Dates:Friday 4th November until Sunday 6th November, 2022
Duration:3-day river journey
Venue:Alum Cliffs section of the Mersey River in NW Tasmania (near Mole Creek).
Fee: $ 455 non-members $364 members includes 3-day course.
Course Numbers: Spaces are limited to a maximum of 10, so don’t delay registering.
Cancellation Policy: If the course is cancelled by Paddle Tas a full refund will be offered. If you need to cancel and your place can be filled by someone on the waitlist a full refund will be offered. An admin fee will be charged in most other circumstances, but please contact Paddle Tas if you need to withdraw.
Accommodation:Own tent/tarp/bivvy bag(more on this further down the page)
River Description:See the following link for details but note that the majority of the description/grades listed here are for a much higher flow than the environmental release level (the standard release level is around 0.42m at Liena). It is unlikely that we would need to change venues but it is a small possibility. If the need arises, we will contact all participants as soon as possible to inform them of any potential changes.
