This three-day advanced course builds on your already solid toolbox of paddling skills. You will start on Grade 2-3 water to refine and refresh your technique through stroke efficiency, sequencing, boat control through transmission, edging, and edging to slicing through turns.
Your instructor will work closely with you on advanced techniques, including advanced scouting, boofing and technical creeking, aiming towards consistency of advanced paddling skills.
You will experience a variety of white water environments (Grade 3 – 4 water through to technical creeking) to take you to the next level of kayaking and bigger white water safely and confidently.
This course is for anyone comfortable paddling Grade 3 rivers and ready to make the next step up.
This course is usually run on Grade 3 – 4 rivers such as the Mersey, North Esk, Lea or similar.
