Australian Canoeing  no longer requires those seeking awards as Lifeguards, Guides and Instructors to hold a first aid certificate. ‘AC recommends that all Lifeguards, Guides and Instructors hold a First aid qualification appropriate to the area of operation from a recognised provider.’ Read the article for further information here.
